We're now offering a new, simple, blog template for Blogonize.

If you're the time of person who likes extreme simplicity, you'll love this.

It can be seen here: http://www.facebook.blogonize.com/ and you can add this to your blog by going here: http://www.blogonize.com/members/blogtemplate.html and selecting the last template.

Looking for some beta testers

A new feature with Blogonize is the ability to embed a blogonize blog on any webpage.

We're looking for a few people to test out this feature so we can work out any kinks in the system.

Some updates

Some new updates that have taken place:

People can now add and use the Facebook application without having to visit Blogonize to create an account
The addition of custom sidebar modules. You'll see this in the top bar of your blog and you can now add widgets, ads or whatever you'd like

Facebook application!

Thanks to Derek Ivey, Blogonize now has a Facebook application!

Check it out yourself here!

Here's a quick look at some of the features:

Multiple blog support

Even if you have more than one Blogonize blog, all of them can be shown on your profile

Blog posting

It's not necessary for users to visit Blogonize to write a new entry, they can do it through the new app

Blog surfing

Members can search for blogs, others users and posts or just browse through blogs

Friend activity

Friends' blogs and latest friends' posts are shown through the new Facebook app

Ratings

Blogonize users can rate blog entries to be shown on the Blogonize hot page

Latest 5 posts visible on your profile

Users' most recent blog entries from any of their blogs are visible on their profile

Just ignore their suggestions for Wordpress...Blogonize is better ;)

Things are still churning

It's well into the holiday season and things here at Blogonize are still in the works. Improvements, fixes, enhancements ect....

Lately I've been focusing on advertising Blogonize a bit more so the rest of the world can experience a better blog. If you know of anyone who seems like the type to keep a journal...feel free to tell them about Blogonize!

Any suggestions to make Blogonize a better site are welcome, just leave a comment.

New feature

I'm working on a new feature....Hopefully it will be done before Christmas time. More details later.

Doh!

Well, I sent out an email to all you yesterday and made a few mistakes while doing so.

First off, the text was white on a dark background and it turns out that gmail doesn't allow background colors, so for some the email looked all messed up.

The other "Doh!" moment was finding out the email address admin@blogonize.com wasn't working at the time so any emails sent to myself didn't go through. However it is all working now

Hey everyone, lately I've been working on some new stuff for Blogonize. Some of it has been completed while other parts are still in the works.

If you click the image below this post that looks like:, you can listen to this post! The same can be done with your blog. Tell all your friends
Now you can advertise with Blogonize here! Remember, you will be one of the first to do so, so while there might be some issues, you might get some extra impressions *hint* *hint*
Some minor bugs throughout the system have been fixed.
The "Hot page" is still a work in progress...Pretty near complete.
